Garden

The GIM-House is situated on the street of the late Gödöllő Art Colony (1901-1920), bearing the name of Aladár Körösfői-Kriesch. The amenities, climatic conditions and dimensions of its garden inspired the founders of the Workshop to create an artistic garden, taking into account the prdecessors’ intention. This current art garden is an outdoor space for exhibiton as well, which provides a rich experience for enthusiasts of contemporary art and horticulture alike.
Fragrant herbs can be found in the front yard designed on various colours (gold, blue, purple), while the “tree of the workshop”, a red-leaved oak is situated in the center of the plot.
