Art Education

The Gödöllő Applied Arts Workshop a thorough, tradition-based arts and crafts education (tapestry weaving, pottery, drawing, painting) is provided. The art courses are tailored to each student’s requirements and assist them in reaching high quality craftsmanship in a professional artistic setting.

The annual education program is carried out in two semesters from October to June.

In the summer, (June-July), a 10-days, intensive art camp is held.

The tapestry and carpet weaving course was led by tapestry artist Flóra Remsey until June 2014, and is under the lead of tapestry artist Eva Farkasvölgyi since. The pottery and plastic art course is under ceramic artist Sára F. Orosz, while textile artist Zsófi Hidasi is responsible for the textile and drawing course. Visual artist János Anti Szabó held drawing and fine arts courses until June 2014. Painter Mózes Incze commenced his oil painting course in 2013. The painting course is led by painter Péter Posztobányi from January 2017.

Workshop showcases presenting the student’s works are regulary held.
